It's hard to find a restaurant that serves a good Chicken Parmigiana. I think in general it's hard to find good Italian in Jacksonville. I judge all Italian restaurant's by their Chicken Parmigiana (if they happen to offer it). Well Nini's has a fantastic Chicken Parmigiana. It was my first visit to Nini's Saturday night (8/8/15) and I can't wait to go back for more and to try the rest of their menu.

I still don't really know how to feel about Ninis. The pizza is probably the best at the beaches, and the other items I've had are great as well (especially the chicken parmesan). I have eaten in, taken out, and gotten delivery. I highly recommend the latter two options - the eating space is tiny and awkward. The delivery guys are always very nice too. My main gripe is with the (presumed?) owner. I see that others on here have mentioned her - one time they screwed up a pizza my girlfriend and I split. We ordered a half and half and got all her half. One would assume it was no big deal, so I called back and mentioned the mixup, and asked if I could just have a small cheese (that was all I wanted) and the owner continued to argue with me about what I ordered, even though since I have not ordered anything but cheese in my entire life I was quite confident that was what I ordered. In the end, she just abruptly said a very small pizza would be there eventually. It came pretty quickly (and the delivery guy was very nice and apologetic) but I just don't understand what her deal is, the customer is ALWAYS right. It wasn't like I was asking for an XL triple meat or anything. This place is the best pizza at the beach, but I will continue to frequent Milano's or Al's since I can order a pizza without being treated so rudely.

This place is small at first sight and has a pretty cozy atmosphere. The food is delicious, probably some of the best pasta I've ever had, and the prices are very reasonable. On top of that, great and friendly service make this place a definite repeat: I highly recommend the mushroom sauce!

This is a solidly good little place for pizza and salads. I had the antipasto salad, the lettuce was fresh and crisp, the meats flavorful. The tomatoes were not particularly red and the olives were the canned variety but still it was overall good. The dressing was house made and quite tasty. My companion had the two slices lunch special, he added pepperoni. Slices were generous, crust was thin and crispy and added toppings were cooked well. Service was speedy, attentive and very friendly. The interior was spotlessly clean and it actually is pretty cute inside. I'm surprised someone said not to go inside, the exterior plaza is dreary but the interior if the restaurant is nice although small, there are only three or so tables. I would recommend this as a quick lunch spot, or a comfy family spot for pizza, I'm sure kids would be welcome.

Great food and great people working there. The pizza is tasty and one of the best I had in a long time. But they have dinners and subs you need to try.

I ate here for the first time today and it was most definitely an awesome find! It's a very small place and I came with a large group, but taking that into consideration, the food still came out in a timely manner. And even if it hadn't, I wouldn't have minded because the food was that good and they bring you delicious garlic bread knots to munch on. I ordered from the lunch special menu (comes with entree, drink and cannoli). I got lasagna-- delicious. I tried my friend's chicken marsala-- exquisite. And the cannolis were the best I've ever had; I don't usually care for them, but I would eat them again here. Also, the waitress (I say "the" because there really was only one) was super friendly and personable. To sum this up: across the board great place. I highly recommend it.

We order to-go from Nini's at least twice a month. I love that they never mess up our order and are always prompt with their deliveries. They have some of the best meatballs at the beach and the pizza is great too!

Dang, where do I start? Not from the area, had a pizza delivered to our motel. We've never had a pizza order screwed up so bad with the wrong ingredients. Beyond that, their pepperoni is of poor quality, tasted nasty. Their crust is like cardboard. In other words, ick, find another pizza house

The food here is great! I usually order dinner from here at least once a week and have never been disappointed. I have not dined in yet, I always order to-go. The service is always fast, and the delivery drivers are very friendly. Their food portions are pretty big, definitely for sharing. The chicken picatta, baked ziti and calzones are my three favorites. Also, their garlic knots that come with entrees are delicious. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

We Ordered a medium pizza for delivery.the t-rock BBQ pizza(pineapple only on half) sounded like a delicious combination so we ordered and the lady that took our order was professional and friendly. We were excited to see what ninis was made of because it's a locally owned restaurant right down the street from our house :-) delivery was quicker than expected(always tip the drivers well, my fellow Yelpers) so that was satisfying however when we got our order, the ingredients were incorrect. When I called back to see if they would be able to fix it since the driver just left, I was pretty much told that there's nothing they can do about it. I heard the cook in the background saying that the order was right when I'm clearly staring at a pizza with pineapple on the entire pie. I'm allergic to citrus so unfortunately I wasn't able to indulge; my friend did say that the crust is crispy and the trock was a fair shot of BBQ pizza. I'll be sticking to al's pizza instead.

The pizza was amazing. We ordered a sausage and pepperoni and a Hawaiian definitely recommend both. Some of the best I've ever had and I've had pizza all over the world. I would have added pictures but the pizza disappeared before I had a chance.

More like 3.5 Atmosphere: Italian theme with literally 4 tables for 2-3 people Service: Server was good and straightforward Food: Meatball Sub was good. The actually meatballs were moist and had a good amount of flavor. Chicken Pesto Roll was good, maybe a little too much cheese for me. Chicken parmesan was good and cooked perfectly. Garlic knots were freshly baked. Portions were definitely large for lunch. Cost: Priced well for the portion size. Overall: Good food, Good service. I would consider going back but nothing that I would crave and go out of my way to get.

This is one of my go to places for Italian at the beach (usually between nini's or milanos). They offer delivery which usually takes about an hour and I live about 5 blocks away. They also have a small dine in area of about 5-6 tables. They offer beer and wine. I usually get the mozzarella sticks which are always awesome. Something about the crust they use. I will always get a large salad too. I love the Greek and the steak salad. They are very large. As far as entrees I recommend the chicken parmesean and the spaghetti with sausage and peppers. The dinners come with garlic rolls which are soft and flavorful. They have several pizza options..last we tried the super (supreme) which had your standard veges, pepperoni, and sausage. It was good put didn't blow my mind or anything.

Once again Nini's delivered quickly and the food is OUTSTANDING. I cannot get enough of their cheeseburger pizza deluxe. Ordered garlic knots and meatballs also. Pizza for lunch and pasta for dinner. Thanks Nini's!!!

Nini's is the best Italian we have found in Jacksonville. The garlic knots are to die for, the pasta is always cooked perfectly, and the sauces are rich and flavorful. Every dish my family has tried, we have loved. Portion sizes are extremely generous and the atmosphere is casual (the staff makes you feel right at home). Nini's is a must try!

Got a pizza to go. A large three topping was $17. It took about 35 minutes which isn't bad on a Friday night. The pizza was hot and ready when I arrived to pick it up. They also deliver as far south as JTB. The pizza was good, but not great. The staff were friendly, and it was a quaint atmosphere.

This is the closest pizza place to our house so we have ordered from here a few times since we moved to the neighborhood. Their pizza is very good and their cal zone was awesome. I've eaten in once and while the decor isn't delightful the smells from the kitchen are and the staff is friendly.

This food at this place is real home cooked italian. We had the tomato pie and it was huge. The staff is very nice and friendly. Very small restaurant with just a couple of tables. We also had the tour of Italy and tried two different pasta dishes. Everything we ate was amazing. We are definitely coming back.

Placing an order for delivery/carry out is frustrating. I've either had to repeat an entire order because the person wasn't writing it down, the phone connection is terrible, thus having to repeat order or delivery or payment method. Automate this aspect of your business.

This was my third pizza from here and by far the best one so far. Plenty of sauce this time. Crust was perfect. Excellent value and close to my house so this is my new #1 go to for Pizza!!
